Scores of people were seen leaving Donald Trump's rally in Las Vegas early while the former president was still speaking on stage.

A clip posted onto X, formerly Twitter, showed large numbers of Trump supporters exiting the area where Trump was speaking in Nevada on Sunday while the former president was delivering his remarks.

Trump's appearance in Las Vegas was the first large-scale rally he has held since being convicted of 34 falsifying business records charges in New York. The event also took place during dangerously hot conditions as a heat wave grips Western parts of the country, with temperatures in Las Vegas reaching around 105 degrees on Sunday.

The video of people leaving the online was posted online by host Brian Shapiro, host of Las Vegas-based radio show Pushing The Limits, as well as by Ron Filipkowski, a former federal prosecutor and frequent Trump critic. The clip has since been viewed more than one million times on X.

Thousands of people leaving the Trump cult rally right in the middle of Cheeto Jesus making his speech. Bizarre don't you think? Why are they leaving? Maybe it's because Orange Man is delivering his exact same speech again in 105 degree temperatures with no shade or water? pic.twitter.com/x8JIzmd3hZ — Pushing The Limits (@PTLRadioShow) June 9, 2024

"Why are they leaving? Maybe it's because Orange Man is delivering his exact same speech again in 105 degree temperatures with no shade or water?"

In the video, one woman can be heard explaining "we have to work" when Shapiro asks behind camera why people are leaving during Trump's speech.

Trump's office has been contacted for comment via email.

The presumptive 2024 Republican candidate's campaign team did hire extra medics, provided thousands of water bottles and set up tents and misting fans around the park to help deal with the sweltering conditions on Sunday.

There was no shade or covering in the area in front of the stage where people stood to watch Trump delivering his speech.

The Clark County Fire Department said around 30 people were treated on site or sent to hospital on Sunday due to the heat.

The former president even joked about people feeling uncomfortable during the heat while on stage on Sunday.

"By the way, isn't the breeze nice? Do you feel the breeze? I don't want anybody going on me, we need every voter," Trump said.

"I don't care about you, I just want your vote. I don't care," he added, prompting some laughter from the crowd. "See now, the press will take that, and they'll say, 'He said a horrible thing.'"

Trump also told the crowd to let staff know if they are feeling unwell as "we have people, they'll pick you up right away."

"You know they were so worried. Everybody was so worried yesterday about you," Trump added. "And they never mentioned me. I'm up here sweating like a dog."

They always do, this is not new.

Media have let him get away with the illusion that his rallies are full of thousands and thousands of rapt supporters nationwide for years. The numbers turning up have always been massively inflated.

He has a hardcore that follows him around, and a load of people that turn up out of curiosity, think it will be exciting, and walk out when they realize it's hours of incoherant rambling nonsense. And some of them have probably been paid to turn up and leave when they've got their money.

Probably started leaving after he told them "all I care about your vote. I don't care about you."

Why wasn't this rally held in an "air conditioned, climate controlled" venue instead of outside in the dessert? Everyone involved w/this rally, especially Trump, are morons.
