Having done a lot of work on the ozone hole, one is constantly asked: “If we could [solve the problem] for ozone, can we do it for climate change?”

But by the 1980s it was becoming clear that we were depleting it through the use of chlorofluorocarbons (CFCs) in aerosols and refrigerators, among other things.

For goodness sake, let’s not give up now, we’re right on the cusp of success.

It also helped the climate change issue, by the way, because chlorofluorocarbons are very strong greenhouse gases. »

President Joe Biden on Sunday is set to visit the Aisne-Marne American Cemetery, the burial place for 1,800 U.S. Marines, whom Donald Trump famously called “suckers” and “losers” and had refused to honor with a visit in 2018 because it had been raining.

Trump, president at the time, had been scheduled to visit the cemetery about 60 miles from Paris but canceled because of the rain.

Kelly, a retired Marine general whose son, also a Marine, died in Afghanistan, went to the cemetery in Trump’s place. »

Buyers aren’t biting though and now the automaker has so much unsold inventory that, as Sherwood News reports, they’re being stored in lots that can be seen from space.

It makes you wonder how long they’ll keep acting like we don’t notice that they have thousands of unsold inventory piling up. »
