The best camera you have is the one you have on you at the time. If it serves as a memory and tells you a story, then it's a good picture.

Technically perfect? Hell no, but that's what's great about photography, everyone wants and likes something different. That's why retro styled camera bodies are popular again and "filters" that add light leaks and such are popular.

If it were me I'd take my camera for the photography but that is because I have one and I'm prepared to carry it. I don't expect everyone to do the same, nor would I do what some others do like carry a tripod.

I believe it. It isn’t terribly impressive from a camera-quality standpoint. Your contribution (framing, etc) and the beauty of nature make it wonderful.
