In the 80’s there were long distance companies called “I Dont Care”, “Whatever”, etc.
If You called long distance (out of area code) on a pay phone, say you were calling home on a pay phone from the airport to say you arrived safely, the operator would ask what long distance company you wanted to use. People would answer that they didnt care and a high rate (think $1 per minute or more) carrier would be selected.
It’s the new wave version of naming your company “AAA” to show up first in the phonebook. This phonebook is just not alphabetically ordered but relevancy ordered 10/10
