Just a heads up, that surgery is called orthognathic surgery. It usually takes about 3 years and is done by these super skilled surgeons who are both doctors and dentists, working with orthodontists.

Had a girlfriend who had this. We were together when she had the funny teeth and head gear all through our high school and she left me as soon as she had straight teeth lol
