A journalist from Veliky Ustyug was reported to the police because of a photo of her wearing a yellow jacket against the blue sky. The author of the report saw the colors of the Ukrainian flag on the photo.

The journalist Antonida Smolina told about it on her "VKontakte" page on April 6.

"At the end of this week the district police officer came over. He said, a certain Valery Nikolaevich P. wrote a report on me to the police. This Valery Nikolaevich went to my page on social media, and there I was in a yellow jacket against the blue sky photographed, thereby causing associations with "our enemy's symbols", which discredit our government and the army," Smolina wrote.

The journalist told the police officer that she had bought the jacket three years ago and that her salary "does not allow her to buy new clothes every time the public opinion of this or that color changes."

In her post, the journalist did not specify whether a lawsuit on "discrediting the army" was eventually opened against her. "Novaya vkladka" writes that the case was limited to explanations.

Russia should just completely ban the colors yellow and blue and force people to wear glasses that filter out the blue sky
