A Florida man was arrested after sparking a skirmish with four guests at a Walt Disney World resort bar that started after he made fun of a guest with Down syndrome, according to an arrest affidavit from the Orange County Sheriff's Office.

Rep. Lauren Boebert, R-Colo., was cut off from alcohol at a December fundraiser headlined by former President Donald Trump, according to CNN.

One witness said that the server told Boebert they believed she had been “overserved,” according to the report.

A British great-grandfather who recently became the world’s oldest man has said his weekly fish and chips are the key to his longevity.

John Tinniswood, aged 111, said his long life is largely down to consuming the British staple meal and taking “everything in moderation”.

On finding out he was the oldest man in the world he said: “Doesn’t make any difference to me. »

Roku wants to patent the ability to display ads when consoles connected to its TVs are paused

A patent application by streaming TV company Roku suggests it wants to be able to display ads on its branded smart TVs when HDMI devices such as consoles are paused.

While Roku originally started off by making streaming devices and sticks, in recent years it has started releasing branded smart televisions with the Roku software built in.

Roku’s software features a screensaver which appears during moments of inactivity, and the company makes extra money by placing ads on this screensaver. »
