President Joe Biden has opened up a 7-point lead over Donald Trump in a new survey of likely Pennsylvania voters.

According to data from Susquehanna Polling & Research, approximately 47% of likely voters would support Biden and the Democrats in a head-to-head challenge with Donald Trump if the election was held today. The former president and Republicans meanwhile earned around 39% support.

Another 7.6% of respondents said they were undecided, and 5.6% said they'd be supporting other candidates.

The data is based on a sampling of 745 likely voters and it was conducted between Jan. 15-21. It has a margin of error of plus or minus 3.7 percentage points.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, R, suspended his campaign on Jan. 21, leaving just Trump and Nikki Haley battling it out for the nomination. The former president is holding a wide lead in New Hampshire polls ahead of Tuesday night's primary, and he won the Iowa caucus.

Pennsylvania will be a competitive state for the next election. Trump won the state by a low margin in 2016, and Biden went on to carry the state by a similarly narrow margin in 2020.

A Quinnipiac University poll released earlier this month, showed Biden leading Trump in the state by approximately 3%, which was within the survey's margin of error.
