President Joe Biden has declared that "MAGA lost" as he celebrated Tuesday's election results that saw wins for Democrats and a significant victory for abortion rights in Ohio.

Biden may have been making reference to recent polls from The New York Times/Siena College that showed Trump leading the president in five key swing states.

In a separate post by the official @POTUS account on X, Biden wrote: "Tonight, Americans once again voted to protect their fundamental freedoms—and democracy won.".

Voters in Ohio approved a ballot measure on Tuesday that will enshrine reproductive rights, including abortion access, into the state constitution.

In Kentucky, Democratic Governor Andy Beshear won reelection and defeated Republican state Attorney General Daniel Cameron.

There was some good news for Republicans on Tuesday, as Governor Tate Reeves was reelected in Mississippi, defeating Democrat Brandon Presley. »
