Chechen President Sides With Palestine, Threatens To Send 'Peacekeepers' Kadyrov Makes Strong Call to Action on Telegram

As the war between Israel and Hamas wages, international players are taking political stances with regards to the conflict. Nations in the Far East and Islamic majority countries tend to hold favor with Palestine, and hold the opinion that Israel’s strict enforcement of Gaza enclave restrictions have been seen to violate international humanitarian protections.

However, the West, provided that Israel follows humanitarian guidelines, has expressed that the country has the right to self-defense and response attacks in the wake of the brutal terror incursion Hamas launched in Israel on October 7.

As the political rhetoric intensifies, the threat of additional fronts opening up rises as a prominent issue, as impassioned foreign governments weigh in on the conflict.

In the wake of recent events, Ramzan Kadyrov, the President of Chechnya, and a Colonel General in Russia had announced via a Telegram post that he supported Palestine, and demanded an end to the conflict between Israel and Hamas. Kadyrov warned that, should the situation deteriorate further, he would consider sending a “peacekeeping force.”

Recently, Ramzan Kadyrov, the President of Chechnya and a Colonel General in Russia, announced via a Telegram post his support for Palestine and called for an end to the conflict between Israel and Hamas. Kadyrov warned that if the situation deteriorates further, he will likely send a peacekeeping force.

"I want to call on the international community to at least once in their lives treat this situation fairly. 50 years ago it was the same.

I especially want to call on Muslim countries to intervene, to create a coalition and call on my European friends in the West not to bomb the cities where civilians live. They don't know that there are insurgents there.

Just to scare them, they bomb and kill. And the West, Europe, is using its forces to destroy Palestine. What are we doing? We are even afraid to pray. We are even afraid to say a word. Where are you Muslims who fought in Syria?

We are brave to fight each other. We are brave enough to threaten each other. But we are afraid to say a word for our own people.

We fully support the actions of Palestine because their land was taken by Israel. And they keep them in isolation. They have no freedom of speech. And today I am against war. And I call on everyone to stop this war so that the war does not spread all over the world.

I call on all Muslims, all citizens and our state to support the truth and stop this war. Or send us there as peacekeepers.

We will stop those who are wrong and those who are right. And we will stop those who continue to fight." appeal to the international community so that at least once they unanimously make a fair decision regarding the situation in Palestine. I appeal to the leaders of Muslim countries - create a coalition and call on those whom you call friends, Europe and the entire West, so that they do not bomb civilians under the pretext of destroying militants.

We support Palestine. And we are against this war, which, unlike other conflicts, can develop into something more.

I myself have been to Israel. And our peaceful delegation experienced first-hand attempts at overt provocation. Therefore, I call for a stop to both the war and any form of escalation of the situation. If necessary, our units are ready to act as peacekeeping forces to restore order and counter any troublemakers, “______the full statement reads.

According to a post, the Kremlin emphasized its diplomatic ties with both parties involved in the conflict. Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov highlighted Russia's historical ties with the Palestinians and its current relationship with Israel. He underscored Moscow's active diplomatic engagement and commitment to seeking a resolution to the conflict. Peskov also mentioned an impending visit by Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas to Moscow, noting that the date is yet to be finalized.

As of this report, our research team has not detected any troop movements related to the purported peacekeeping force. An analysis of a Twitter post about Kadyrov’s announcement reveals a video of soldiers marching. However, this footage dates back to 2022, prior to the recent developments.

I wonder how long those guys will last against Israeli airstrikes.

I guess unless Russia wants to divert their planes to defend the Chechen fighters over Israel while still chest-deep in Ukraine - but only if they want to see what comes out of USS Gerald R. Ford in response.

This is almost as big of a non-story as when Medvedev threatened to take Alaska. I feel like we need to have a separate tag for “Russian man speaks nonsense” - it’s not real geopolitics imo, it’s just Putin lackeys competing to see who can say to most stupid and outlandish stuff to show Putin they’re not a respectable threat to his power.

That’s just my personal take tho, who knows, maybe I’m giving him too much credit in the brain department and he’s actually serious.

Considering they have allowed honour killings of women and massacres of gays it makes sense they will side with Hamas.

It seems unlikely that, given Chechen commitments in Ukraine, Russia would allow an independent Chechen deployment to the Levant.
