77-year-old man from The Villages arrested after found with $1,800 worth of illegal erectile dysfunction pills

THE VILLAGES, Fla. — (WESH) A 77-year-old Florida man was arrested and accused of having thousands of dollars worth of illegal pills used to treat erectile dysfunction.

Now, there’s outrage in the community that he was arrested.

The Villages, with homes sprawling through multiple Florida counties, is considered one of the largest retirement communities in the nation.

It is a place where senior romances bloom like spring flowers. And a place where one particular prescription pill could be in high demand. The kind that treats erectile dysfunction.

According to the feds, Reginald Kincer was allegedly willing to satisfy that demand. Kincer gave us a quick interview at his house in The Villages.

“They are trying to do the right thing, and I’m trying to do the right thing, too,” he told NBC2 affiliate WESH 2 News.

According to a news release, the 77-year-old had more than $1,800 worth of the pills that were off-brand stashed in his house. They were the pills he allegedly got “without a prescription from a licensed doctor” with plans to “redistribute the drugs in and outside of the state.”

Needless to say, Kincer has become somewhat of a folklore legend in The Villages, with one-liners coming faster than professional comics can deliver.

“It won’t hold up in court,” one local man said.

“A man is just trying to do a girl a favor,” a local woman said.

“I hope they don’t release any names. That’s all private, you know,” another resident said.

Kincer is facing a charge that could lead to a year-long stint in federal prison, which leaves his legions of fans even more confused than why Kincer was arrested.

When we talked to Kincer at his house, he said the federal agents were very helpful and that he was not mistreated.
