For anyone that is wondering, this is most likely Silfra, Iceland. It's marketed at the split between tectonic plates - I don't know whether that is true and I haven't been. But if you're not going for the tectonic plates, it is true that in certain areas of the fissure there is some of the clearest water in the world which makes for some spectacular snorkeling/diving.
