Me and my friends graduated earlier that year. We had been planning a trip to fly to CA and do the Disney/Universal circuit. We had worked hard over the summer and saved up enough. We bought our own park and airplane tickets and hotel.
Our departure time was sept 12th. I spent the first half of Sept 11th not thinking about it. Flights were grounded by that afternoon.
Me and my friends figured it would just be a one day thing though. We were incorrect. Never did end up going.
