Leo the cat was found after going missing during the floods.

Twenty-six days after he went missing, an adorable black and white cat named Leo has been reunited with his family.

Brave Leo went missing after historic glacial flooding swept away his home and all his owner's belongings.

According to the Washington Post, Elizabeth Wilkins and her partner were mountain biking in Oregon when they discovered their two-story Juneau, Alaska home had been swept into a nearby river during a glacial flood.

Leo was lost and assumed missing. However, the cat proved he does have nine lives after he was found alive and well in a nearby Juneau neighborhood.

Wilkins and Leo were reunited after Juneau residents came together to try and find the cat, sharing photos of him on Facebook. A friend of Wilkins recognized Leo from a picture another resident posted of a stray cat, and Wilkins and her beloved pet were finally reunited.

Leo's paw-rents are both teachers, and they rescued the "COVID kitten" in 2020.

Probably could make a movie out of “Brave Leo” escaping the flood.
