Details: Nizhynskyi said that only some of the cases have been submitted to court.

"There are already 203 or 205 cases that the Office of the Prosecutor General has officially verified and submitted to the court. There are 93,000 calls that are verified by the National Police and are transferred to the relevant rescue centres," said Nizhynsky.

Nizhynskyi said that there are plans to work on changes to the Criminal Code.

The idea is to create a separate article to cover punishment for sexual violence during wartime.

He also noted that there are currently a number of hubs in Ukraine where victims can turn on a confidential basis.

"These are 11 centres that have been set up over the past year. Mostly in the east of Ukraine. The first one was in Zaporizhzhia, then Sumy, Kropyvnytskyi, and Kyiv, and there were many of these initiatives.

And this is a hub where a person, even without going to law enforcement, can seek help – humanitarian, medical, legal or psychological," Nizhynskyi said.

Earlier, the police reported that most sexual offences were officially recorded in the liberated territories of Kyiv, Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts.

Another generation with trauma. Think of how much this affects families. The PTSD and the mental debilitation… it’s as bad as being wounded physically and you live with it for life. I cannot even fathom what is going on in the occupied parts of Ukraine.

That's mind boggling. Imagine how many haven't reported it. Crazy how Russia still uses sexual violence as a weapon in 2023 like they did during WW2

This is just the reported cases.
