On the night of August 27, 2023, Ukraine’s Air Force destroyed four Russian cruise missiles over central and northern regions.

The relevant statement was made by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

In particular, last night Russia attacked Ukraine’s territory with Kh-101, Kh-55 and Kh-555 air-launched cruise missiles.

Five strategic aircraft fired the missiles from Russia’s airspace near Engels.

Initially, up to eight enemy air targets were detected. Four missiles were downed by Ukraine’s Air Force over central and northern regions. The rest of detected targets were presumably false, as they were not reported to have reached any object.

A reminder that 12 Russian warships are remaining on combat duty in the Black Sea, including one missile carrier.

Five Russian aircraft launched missiles. UKR saw eight what looked like missiles. Shot down 4. The other 4 disappeared without a trace, Maybe they turned east and blew up some Russian's cow.

To be fair, Russia intercepts Ukrainian explosives all the time. Usually with a bridge, building or some type of militarily significant equipment.
