The Armed Forces of Ukraine liberated the village of Staromayorske in Donetsk region.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky released a video in which the fighters announce the liberation of the village on Telegram.
“Our South! Our guys! Glory to Ukraine!” President wrote.
In the video, fighters of the 35th Brigade reported that they liberated the village of Staromayorske together with the Arey territorial defense battalion.

While a single village is a small deal on its own, this represents progress in one of the thickest and most stubbornly held defensive positions across the entire front. Russia has chosen to make it an attritional battle rather than ceding any territory here to save their troops, so progress here is a lot more significant than it looks.
