The plane in question is a Canadair CL-600−2b19 Challenger 850.

The aircraft took off from Minsk at midnight on 24 June, circled over the Caspian Sea and Georgia and landed in Bodrum, Türkiye, on the Mediterranean coast. It seems that the plane specifically bypassed the southern regions of Russia.

Journalists note that top officials of Belarus and family members of the self-proclaimed President Alexander Lukashenko often use this plane.

A de facto violent confrontation between the head of the Wagner PMC, Prigozhin, and the official Russian leadership has been unfolding in Russia.

Prigozhin claims that his forces have taken control of military facilities in the Russian city of Rostov-on-Don, including the airfield, and are heading "towards Moscow", and that his soldiers have shot down three Russian helicopters.
