I’m a SoCal son so I’m partial to In n Out. I will choose it over almost anything, but I’m not gonna sit here and say it’s the greatest ever.
5 Guys is pretty fucking good, but stupidly priced.
The “specialty” burger places put too much shit on their burgers. Can’t even fit them in your face. Giant patties, piles of toppings and specialty stuff, thing is 6” tall.
Proportionate amounts of bun, cheese, meat, toppings are what do it for me and In n Out nails it as far as I’m concerned.
I'm a big fan of how there is zero options to tip at in and out, and they pay their employees very well. Managers make 6 figures and a company car last I knew.
