I love the PNW. Driving up from North CA to Seattle has opportunity after opportunity to see amazing vistas and waterfalls. Last time my wife and I went we always stopped whenever we saw a sign for one. Sometimes they are a trek into the woods that takes an hour other times they are literally facing a busy road but always worth while.
Check out the Trail of the Ten Falls. 10 different waterfalls in a single day hike. Absolutely beautiful and a hike I always made sure to do once a year when I still lived in Oregon.

They call this mountain range the "Cascades" for good reason.
