The toy tractor was my wife's father's collectible. It was passed on to her when he passed away many years ago. Instead of letting it sit and collect dust, we gave it to him for his 2nd birthday. It quickly became one of his favorites.
The farming neighbor unfortunately had his grandfather pass away this spring, so he and his father are taking a swing at running the farm themselves.
We came home the other night and noticed that the tractor was exactly the same as his toy. We rushed out to get a few photos with him holding it and the tractor in the background. We even walked out into the field to talk to him and let him know how much our son loves it.
This photo is a couple of sons looking up to their grandfathers in their own special ways.

Like the other guy said, great Americana right here and something right out of a calendar.
Good composition, the tractor is at a perfect distance, the kid is posed just right with toy and his shorts matching really is the cherry on top.
