This is a photograph that I took using a timer on my phone's camera. I have a painful form of Alopecia that causes burning, stinging, pins/needles, sharp pain, and even bleeding of the scalp. This photograph depicts the emotions I feel, the pain I experience, and the depression of losing hair as a young woman. I wished to express myself in an artist way not only to cope with my situation but to share a piece of what it's like.
This is an incredible piece of art, it’s getting annoying to see so much nudity on this subreddit— but posts like this actually remind me “oh yeah nudity can be included in art in an impactful way”
