PASCO COUNTY, Fla. – A man is accused of killing and dismembering an Uber Eats driver delivering food to his home, according to the Pasco County sheriff.

Deputies searched Thursday for the missing Uber Eats driver and Uber Eats provided law enforcement with information on his last whereabouts.

GPS data showed the driver was last at a home along Moog Road in Holiday, Florida, according to the sheriff. »

Minnesota Senate votes 34-33 to legalize recreational cannabis

ST. PAUL, Minn. -- The Minnesota Senate voted along party lines Friday afternoon to legalize recreational cannabis for adults 21 and older.

He highlighted the positives of a potential cannabis law, including automatically expunging low-level cannabis convictions from people's criminal records.

If signed into law, Minnesota would become the 23rd state to legalize weed. »

MANILA - The Philippines Coast Guard said on Friday (April 28) it was involved in a confrontation with Chinese vessels that made "dangerous maneuvers" in the South China Sea, the latest in a string of tense maritime interactions between the two countries.

The Coast Guard said that during the April 18-24 mission, it identified more than 100 "alleged Chinese maritime militia vessels, a People's Liberation Army Navy corvette class and two China Coast Guard vessels" within the Philippines' 200-mile exclusive economic zone. »

'Mom influencer' found guilty of lying about Latino couple trying to kidnap her kids at California store

A white California "mom influencer" was convicted of fabricating a story about a Latino couple trying to kidnap her children outside of a store.

Authorities cleared them of any wrongdoing and said that the investigation into Sorensen's claims "produced no evidence" to support her allegations.

Sorensen, who described herself on social media as a "mom influencer," said the couple gave her the "heebie-jeebies" and "weren’t clean-cut individuals.". »
