Is it a common thing for bars overseas to serve breakfast?
Wish we had that here in the United States. Tired of pouring my own drinks at 8 AM.
EDIT: Alright, guess this isn't as uncommon as I thought... Maybe it's just because I live in Texas, but bars here can't even be open until 10, and until 1 they can only bring you a drink if you already have food in front of you.
I cycled from San Sebastian to Cape de Cruz last summer and spent time in Bilbao, Girona, and Barcelona. I was shocked how cheap food was, how great it was to see cafes on every block, how good cafe con leche was, and how badly I now want to move to Spain. What an awesome lifestyle! What an awesome country. I loved it!
