I re-watched Ken Burns WW 2 doc recently — stay with me. Life mag made the decision to publish pics of 3 dead American soldiers in the Pacific theater. Inelegant death. Face down in sand. Sprawled unnaturally. To show that no words could convey the sacrifice Americans were making.
It may be time to publish school shooting pics. Identity obscured of course but to show that that these are actual children and what AR 15s do to a child’s body. I know that sounds horrific, but. It may be time.
