I was a part of the rebuilding effort right after the storm. One of my most vivid memories was walking through a suburb to get to a house we were dismantling when we came across a house with a stop sign standing upright in front of its door. I thought it was such a crazy coincidence for a stop sign to be picked up by a flood only to land perfectly upright, until I realized we were walking in the street. The stop sign didn’t get flung onto the houses lawn, the house broke off its foundation and was carried into the middle of the street
