I took this image during one of the first autumn workshops of the season: it was a relatively wind-less (but quite cold!) evening, with very little clouds all over the sky. Right after sunset though, the clean air helped us getting some magnificent tones all over the sky, with a beautiful Venus belt on the opposite side of where this picture was taken (so, not visible here). As the sky got darker, the moon finally started to shine more and more every minute - and when it was rising right between the peaks I got this shot!

Y'all are killing me with pics of the Dolomites. We're going next week and I know we won't be able to get to these places.
