As with any new parents, we’ve taken lots of pictures of our newborn son. I wanted a close up shot of either his little hands or feet, but did not have a good background… until yesterday. There was a lot of cloud cover so the lighting was perfect and I got this photo right as my wife was giving him some love. Super proud of this shot!
I love this photo. It captures the moment perfectly and is so much better than the standard pic where mum looks exhausted and not her best. It makes you feel the love you felt in those first cuddles and the smallness of a newborn. I didn't need the reminder of what I looked like but would have loved to capture that feeling I felt. It's awesome. Keep taking loads of pictures of mummy. I have so many of the kids alone and daddy with kids but hardly any of me. She will treasure them if they are like this one.
