I remember Dave set up a couple of smokers to make BBQ for the firefighters battling wildfires in Malibu back in 2018. Legit good dude.

Food Not Bombs was very big in Seattle in the 90s, and Kurt Cobain was a pretty activist-minded dude.
It would not be surprsing if Dave Grohl has been doing this for his entire life.

I worked for a homeless services center in LA not too long ago and their late drummer - Taylor Hawkins - came in one day, along with his family, to serve meals.
Really nice guy, hung around afterwards to chat a bit with our staff.
Birds of a feather, I suppose. RIP, Taylor.
