I have so many questions about day-to-day life when you get this kind of snow. Do you have to keep shoveling regularly while it snows so you don't have to tunnel out? Do you have to clear the roof? How long does it take before everyone can drive to go to work/school/grocery shopping... a few days? A week? Do you use snow mobiles instead of cars until it can all get cleared, and do you keep them in sheds on stilts or something?

Is this recent? I saw a month or so ago Mammoth ski resort closed because they had too much snow.
