Atomic Heart is at the center of a new request from Ukraine, calling on Sony, Microsoft and Valve to ban the game. Let’s see the details.

Atomic Heart is out and it’s making waves, especially after a series of mixed reviews. Now, however, the situation is getting a little more serious because Ukraine is asking Sony, Microsoft and Valve to ban the sale of Atomic Heart game . The reason? Developer Mundfish appears to have ties to the state-owned energy corporation Gazprom. Also, the developer hasn’t publicly denounced the invasion of Ukraine, which leads the nation to believe that it either supports the war or otherwise isn’t against it.

These are considerations of the Deputy Minister of Digital Transformation, Alexander Bornyakov , who stated: “We also call for limiting the distribution of this game in other countries due to its toxicity, the potential collection of user data information and the possibility of transferring it to third parties in Russia, as well as the potential use of money raised from purchases of the game to wage war against Ukraine.”

Recall that Mundfish is headquartered in Cyprus, but the team is believed to be predominantly Russian. For the moment this is what we know about the issue and we will have to see if and how Microsoft, Sony and Valve will respond.

Im ukrainian myself and i dont see the issue here, i understand why mundfish wouldnt make a comment on the war since they reside in russia. I really wish people would stop getting offended for others because this is a little embarrassing imo
