As a person in a wheelchair I never expect the handicap stall to be open. Just happy to be able to use it once it is open. I plan a half hour for using the bathroom, to wait for the inevitable guy that uses it to catch up on his reading.

As a handicapped guy who uses a walker. It’s hilarious every time I walk into the bathroom and the person starts apologizing once they see my walker through the bottom of the stall. I have to explain to them that it’s no big deal lol.

Handicapped stalls are not like handicapped parking spaces. Anyone can use the stall. It’s just marked so that it’s easily identifiable
