I think these types of photos are important. I know a lot of people have been pissed at them getting posted, saying they don't want to see this kind of stuff. But, we often times see a number on the news "1,200 killed" or "6,000 dead" that we cannot process. Numbers are harmless and meaningless, they don't impact or process the same as 1 single life being lost in an image. Now however terrible the one loss makes you feel inside, imagine that times 6,000. This is what makes us care about our families and each other. We are human, and it can all change tomorrow.

Well that's it, no more reddit for me today. Going to give my girls hugs and spend some good time with them.

So sad. If I were that dad I’d be doing the same thing. The thought of them being alone is just heartbreaking. He’s a great dad.
