Police estimated that some 110,000 people gathered on Tel Aviv’s Kaplan Street and at Habima Square, making it the largest protest yet.

Last week saw some 80,000 protesters at Tel Aviv’s Habima Square and several thousand more in Jerusalem and Haifa.

Many roads in central Tel Aviv were blocked due to the demonstration, and police forces were out in large numbers to maintain order.

Channel 12 said Netanyahu’s coalition wants a first reading of the bill in the Knesset by February 1.

Moshe Ya’alon, former defense minister and a key protest leader, called Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s desired government a “dictatorship of criminals.”.

At the Tel Aviv protest, several said Benjamin Netanyahu was pursuing far-reaching judicial reform in a bid to slip his ongoing corruption trial.

Police: Woman fatally shoots dying husband at hospital

DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) — A woman fatally shot her terminally ill husband inside a Florida hospital on Saturday and then barricaded herself in his room for four hours before surrendering, Daytona Beach officials said.

Ellen Gilland, 76, told officers that her 77-year-old husband Jerry Gilland had been ill for some time and they had planned the shooting together, police spokeswoman Carrie McCallister said.

After shooting her husband at about 11:30 a.m., she refused to come out until about 3:30 p.m. after negotiating with police, McCallister said. »

White House to McCarthy: No negotiations on debt limit

WASHINGTON (AP) — The White House says President Joe Biden “looks forward” to sitting down with new House Speaker Kevin McCarthy to discuss a range of topics, including perhaps the thorniest challenge confronting Washington this year: raising the nation’s debt limit.

One hitch: That statement Friday came with no actual invitation to the White House, and no date nor time for a meeting.

Rather, the White House again emphasized that Biden is not willing to entertain policy concessions in exchange for lifting the debt limit, which is the nation’s borrowing authority. »

Sega has been accused of failing to credit the localization team for Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden release on consoles and PC.

The localization producer who worked on the project also shared screenshots that appear to suggest that the team didn’t get their credit in this new release for Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden.
