I was behind him in the TSA line at LAX in September of 2020. The TSA guy kept telling him over and over to take his shoes off and put them in the bin, and he just stood there looking bewildered. Finally the TSA guy got right up next to him and was practically shouting into his ear, and he finally started moving. His hair was a mess, his clothes were a mess, and he was holding up his sweatpants the same way homeless people do when their pants are several sizes too big. It was weird.
Edit: this isn’t copypasta. This actually happened. And it was actually weird and kind of sad. He looked like your average homeless older person in LA. Unkept and disoriented.
I met him about 4 years ago at a music awards show. He looked like shit and seemed to be lobotomized. I thought he was just stoned out of his mind but this makes a lot more sense.
