Details regarding the brand new Forge action game from Riot Games for PC and consoles have leaked and appeared online.

Fresh details regarding the new Forge action game for PC and consoles from Riot Games have leaked online. The leak comes via the South Korea’s Game Ratings Committee, which has recently rated the title for local audiences.

According to the listing, the game is titled Mageseeker: League of Legends Story, and it follows the story of Sylas’ prisoner uprising, from their punishment to being born mages. The plot involves a rebellion amassed to topple Demacia’s monarchy and demolish the nation’s hierarchy of oppression.

Based on the rating, the new Forge action game from Riot Games has been deemed suitable for players who are of age 12 or above by South Korea’s Game Ratings Committee. The reason cited for this rating states that the game features continuous battle scenes against both humans and non-humans. It is, therefore, classified for ages 12 and above, as per Article 21 of the Game Industry Promotion Act and Article 7 Subparagraph 2 of the Rating Regulations.

League of Legends (LoL), commonly referred to as League, is a 2009 multiplayer online battle arena video game developed and published by Riot Games. The founders of Riot Games were inspired to create a standalone game in the same genre as the Warcraft III custom map Defense of the Ancients. League has been a free-to-play game since its release in October 2009, and it earns money through purchasable character customization. The game is supported on both macOS and Microsoft Windows.

In the game, there are two teams of five players each, and they engage in player-versus-player combat while defending and occupying their respective halves of the map. The ten players each control a “champion,” a character with special abilities and a different playing style. Champions gain strength during a match by gaining experience points, earning gold, and investing in items to outwit the opposing team. In Summoner’s Rift, the main mode of League, a team wins by breaking through to the enemy base and destroying their “Nexus,” a large structure located within.

The fact that it lists playing as a main character makes me think it's gonna be like a action combat game? Would be cool to see Riots take on a game like Dark Souls or God of War.
