Russia is trying to create an army of two million people.

That's according to the website of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Defense Ministry, Ukrinform reports.

"According to estimates by Ukraine's military intelligence, the scale of the mobilization measures being carried out by the aggressor country indicates that its leadership plans to create an army with the number of about two million people," the report said.

According to the intelligence agency, during the first wave of mobilization, 300,000 people were drafted into the Russian armed forces. After a short training, the mobilized are sent to the area of hostilities in Ukraine.

Ukraine's intelligence does not rule out that the Russian leadership will announce another wave of mobilization in the coming days. Another 500,000 Russians will join the armed forces, which will allow the terrorist country to create strategic reserves. Preparations for the announcement of the next wave of mobilization in Russia are already underway. At the legislative level, changes regulating mobilization are being made to Russian laws. The active preparation of training centers is also underway.

Every Russian between 15 and 30 is looking for the exits.

Oh, they want to compete with the West in military spending again? Back when Moscow controlled an ideologically committed global empire, that kind of competition literally destroyed their society. Maybe Putin will have better luck this time? (Or maybe Russians are cursed with bad leaders who always make destructively dumb decisions on their behalf?)

What would they even equip them with? There are still reports of how the current numbers don't have enough weapons, radios, food, socks, etc.
