My daughter is 12. I’m on my fourth braided friendship bracelet since she was about 7. I’ve told her that I expect replacements as need for the rest of my life because I’m never taking it off.
Enjoy it but also expect 12 more lol. As a fellow girl dad that is a daddy's girl, they want to make you happy and will absolutely repeat anything that they know you like. I agree with top comment save it or at least tell her to make one for you to keep that you can put in a keepsake box.

Take it off and put it somewhere safe. These don't last long if you wear them.
