I just remember the school system really pulling the wool over our eyes when I was a kid. They added a salad bar where you could fill up a paper bowl with as much as would fit. We thought we were being bad, piling it up as high as we could, but we were really just eating a crap load of fresh veggies because they only let you have one ladle of dressing. Now as an adult I'd love to get that chance again, even at today's prices. It was only a buck back then.
