The developers of Capcom’s forthcoming Resident Evil 4 Remake have confirmed that no content will be cut from the original.

Speaking during an interview with Edge magazine, the developers working on the upcoming Resident Evil 4 Remake have confirmed that the game will not cut any content, and will, therefore, be faithful to the original. The developers at Capcom mentioned that the team had initially split into three parts to work individually on the Village, Castle and Island sections.

The developers added that once each team had finished its section of the game, they came back together and went over each section for revisions and to focus on alterations for pacing. In addition, the developers mentioned that there’s a lot more to the Island compared to the original game, though they didn’t elaborate on this.

It’s tough to say for sure, but it’s likely that this section has been overhauled in terms of level design, and is now more expansive with more areas to explore. After all, the Island was the least popular section from the original, so it makes sense for the development team to put in extra effort to ensure that matches the quality of the rest of the game.

Previously, the Resident Evil 4 Remake producer had revealed that the game is in the final phase of development, and that he’s preparing to share more information. Japanese publication Famitsu asked a number of game creators involved in the production of popular games about their aspirations for the year 2023. In his response, Resident Evil 4 Remake producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi stated that he is currently preparing to share more information on the game, and also said that it is in the final phase of development.

Meanwhile, in his aspirations for the year 2023, Resident Evil Village producer Masachika Kawata shared that he’ll be running about for all sorts of preparations. He asked fan to look forward to what Capcom has in store for them, including new entries in the Resident Evil series.
