50mm f2.8 lens using a Leica M10r - my friend is a bee keeper and we wanted to do some shots of the bees while giving them some pollen in the Texas winter season.
I have been asked and no, the bees are not photoshopped. The only edits were skin retouching and colors. The bees are 100% real and this was a surprise to see this when reviewing the photos later that day.
The bee keeper (in the pic) was awesome in understanding the bees, their mood, and keeping things safe with epi-pens on hand and making sure I moved slow.
