Romanian police raided the luxury villa of Andrew Tate, the controversial British influencer, and arrested him and his brother Tristan.

A luxury villa belonging to the controversial influencer Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan was raided by armed police in Romania this morning, Thursday, December 29.

The raid was conducted by the Directorate for the Investigation of Organized Crime and Terrorism (DIICOT ).

They confirmed in the statement that cops raided five homes tied to four suspects as part of an investigation into organised crime, human trafficking, and rape.

Andrew and Tristan are accused of obtaining large sums of money with which they bought houses, luxury cars, and cryptocurrencies.

The FCC has been working to crack down on these predatory costs for years and implemented a cap on prison calls in 2021, while individual states, including Connecticut and California, have made prison phone calls free of charge. »
