Silent Hill: The Short Message has been rated in Taiwan for the PS5. The game was previously rated in Korea as well.

Silent Hill: The Short Message has been leaked in the past with screenshots from the game appearing online. It was not a part of the recent showcase focused on the Silent Hill franchise. This revealed games like the Silent Hill 2 Remake, and Silent Hill f, among other projects.

The game appears to have been rated PG-15 in Taiwan with the mention of Violence, Horror, and Inappropriate language. No release date is approved for the game, as seen in the rating. It is only rated for the PS5 which makes it exclusive to the system.

Silent Hill 2 Remake is one of the games that is coming exclusively to the PS5. It was announced by Konami earlier this year and it is being developed in partnership with Bloober Games.

The Silent Hill series had been lying dormant for a while until recently when it was hinted that there might be multiple projects in the works for this franchise. It has been brought back again now that there is an official confirmation for the games like Silent Hill 2 Remake, Silent Hill: f, Silent Hill: Townfall, and an experiment Silent Hill: Ascension.
