A Colorado man has been arrested for violating California's hate crime laws after a viral TikTok video allegedly captured him making bigoted, racist comments toward other customers at an East Bay In-N-Out restaurant, police announced Monday.

The suspect was identified by San Ramon's police chief as 40-year-old Jordan Douglas Krah, a Denver resident.

The incident happened on the night of Christmas Eve. The video was posted the following day and quickly racked up millions of views.

interviewed and a press release will be distributed later with additional arrest charges (if determined they are necessary).

The TikTok video that captured the exchange shows two diners trying different menu items, when someone behind the camera says "You're filming yourself eating? You're weird homosexuals."

The diners look stunned, and the suspect then asks if they are Japanese or Korean. When one of them answers 'Korean', the suspect then says "that's what I thought. You're Kim Jong Un's boyfriend huh."

As the diners laugh nervously, the suspect then says he is "a slavemaster" and uses a homophobic slur.

After that, the suspect tells them "see you outside."

On Sunday afternoon, San Ramon Police Chief Denton Carlson said on social media that police were seeking information about the suspect and posted a photo of a man in a silver Mustang, with Florida plates.

On Monday, the chief said Krah would be booked at Contra Costa County jail in Martinez on suspicion of a hate crime.

"Thank you to everyone who has helped by providing information associated with the racist and homophobic incidents over the past few days," Carlson said Monday in a post on social media.

More information on the case would be released later, the chief said.

Not mentioned in this article, the suspect also allegedly harrassed some Filipino Americans with racist taunts the next day (Christmas Day) and may face additional charges for that. Source

No matter how bad a place you're in at the moment, you aren't in such a bad place as to think that harassing people at In-N-Out on Christmas Eve is a good use of time.

Let alone harassing them and then deciding to do the 'I'll wait for you outside' routine.
