Assassin’s Creed Jade is an upcoming mobile game that is set in China. Gameplay footage from this new release was reportedly leaked online.

The gameplay footage appears to showcase the main character jumping and climbing around the great wall of China. It features snippets of combat as well as cutscenes. The game appears to be a rather high-quality product and could easily pass for a console release. While the combat might be simplified due to the mobile controls, it still looks interesting to play as a 3D Assasins’ Creed game.

When it was originally revealed by Ubisoft, it was confirmed to be AAA mobile game. This basically means it has good production values and the leaked gameplay footage does confirm that this is the case.

The game is set in Ancient China and will supposedly bring back the classic style of Assassin’s Creed gameplay. Since the jump to open world and RPG, Assassin’s Creed games are becoming focused on providing an immersive experience rather than something that was closer to its original vision, Stealth. Fans have been bemoaning a return to the roots of the franchise, and the upcoming Assassin’s Creed Mirage is also being marketed as a game that will return back to its roots.

Since this is a mobile game, Ubisoft is offering character customization for the player letting them create their own Assassin. The time period was revealed to be 215 BCE allowing the players to roam and explore around Ancient China. We can already see that The Great Wall of China is an integral part of the experience offered in Assassin’s Creed Jade.

As a mobile game, controls might be limited by touch input and prompts can be seen in the leaked gameplay footage. Nonetheless, this looks like an interesting project to keep your eyes on if you are a fan of the franchise.

Mobile games can look like PS4 ganes nowadays.

May play like crap but graphically wise they can be equally visually impressive.

I honestly thought this was announced as a mobile game? Or maybe I just remember the trailer looking that way.
