In five out of the past 58 U.S. presidential elections the winner did not win the popular vote – that includes the past two Republican presidents, but won because of the Constitution’s Electoral College.

Pastor Shane Vaughn says he has had “a stroke of genius,” and wants the election of U.S.

Senators to bypass U.S. citizens and be decided by an “Electoral College” in each state.

Vaughn used Republican Herschel Walker’s recent loss of the Georgia U.S. Senate runoff to make his case.

Florida pastor and his son are arrested in alleged $8 million Covid scam

A Florida pastor and his son were arrested Wednesday on charges of fraudulently obtaining more than $8 million in federal Covid relief funds and attempting to use some of the money to buy a luxury home near Walt Disney World.

In the loan application, he claimed that the organization, ASLAN International Ministry, had 486 employees and a monthly payroll of $2.7 million, according to a federal forfeiture complaint.

Amazon Games and Crystal Dynamics Strike Deal to Develop and Publish Next Major Entry in Iconic Tomb Raider Series

Amazon Games and Crystal Dynamics today announced they have reached an agreement under which Crystal Dynamics will develop a new multiplatform Tomb Raider title, with Amazon Games providing full support and publishing the game globally.

The as-yet-untitled new Tomb Raider game is a single-player, narrative-driven adventure that continues Lara Croft’s story in the Tomb Raider series.

Iran Booted From UN Women’s Rights Panel

The United States led the charge to see Iran booted from the U.N.’s Commission on the Status of Women, where it has served since 2019 even though it is one of the world’s foremost human rights abusers.

The United States draft resolution was passed after 29 countries voted in favor, with 8 against and 16 abstentions.

White House national security adviser Jake Sullivan said the vote "is another sign of the growing international consensus on Iran and demands for accountability." »
