I remember in the days before mp3 players, the movie Twister gave me the idea to set up my computer in my car.
The idea was to have my entire mp3 collection available for road trips and just play crazy long playlists without switching CDs.
It worked, but was super impractical. It turns out needing to pull over and get the monitor out of the trunk to change the playlist kind of ruin the road trip vibe and I only ever did it the one time.
