A GOP congresswoman cried as she spoke out against the bipartisan Respect for Marriage Act on Thursday.

Rep. Vicky Hartzler of Missouri begged members of the House to vote against the bill.

An individual opened fire near a Duke Energy facility at Wateree Hydro Station in Ridgeway, South Carolina, on Wednesday, CBS News has learned.

In a statement to CBS News, Duke Energy said it is working "closely" with the FBI to investigate the issue.
