Make it a long long ride, then a nice treat. 🐾

My heart is with you. Reddit brother or sister. It a fault in the stars that we don't get to love our little buddies for all the days of our lives; but remember he loved you for all of his life, up until the very last. He will always be your forever dog.

Good for you and him.

I had to let go of my dog a few months ago...I wished we could've gone on one last hike this summer, but she was so frail at that point.

The only thing I regret is maybe not calling it sooner. Months after feeling guilty about 'taking her life'...now with a clearer mind, I now feel like I should've called it much earlier. She really was struggling there for awhile now that I'm looking back.

Godspeed and safe travels to the stars.
