MOSCOW, Nov 24 (Reuters) - The Kremlin on Thursday denied that its attacks on Ukraine's electricity network were aimed at civilians, but said Kyiv could "end the suffering" of its population by meeting Russia's demands to resolve the conflict.

Repeated missile barrages against power infrastructure across Ukraine over the last few weeks have forced millions of people to go without light, water or heating for hours or days at a time, just as outdoor temperatures fall below freezing.

But Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov told reporters that "there have been no strikes on 'social' targets and there are none - special attention is paid to this".

"As for targets that are directly or indirectly related to military potential, they are accordingly subject to strikes," he said.

Peskov was asked how the suffering of Ukraine's civilian population could be reconciled with President Vladimir Putin's positions. Putin has said Russia does not wish to destroy Ukraine or its people.

"The leadership of Ukraine has every opportunity to bring the situation back to normal, has every opportunity to resolve the situation in such a way as to fulfil the requirements of the Russian side and, accordingly, end all possible suffering among the population."

As a Russian (left at the fall of the USSR) Peskov is a real piece of shit. Just like the rat fuck TV host, Dmitry Kiselyov.

I’m very happy, that I’m at the age where I’ll still get to see Putin die and his cronies either killed or sent to prison camps.

Corruption, theft, and no respect for human life is so deeply ingrained that it would take generations to change the cultural mentality.

When the USSR fell, people inherited rooms in communal apartments. So since they were privatized, the tenant and now owner, could sell them.

As the real estate market grew, some of those rooms came to be worth alot of money. Deep pocketed people would come in a buyout the entire communal space. Like buy the people out.

In Moscow, some of those rooms were going for hundred of thousands of dollars.

So, what do the some of the kids and grandkids do? They decide to murder their older family members to “inherit” those rooms.

Another story is a bunch of kids who’s parents were in the duma went clubbing. Met a girl. Raped her, set her on fire and left her for dead.

The poor girl crawled out of the ditch, managed to get into a hospital, lost limbs because of amputations, named all the perpetrators, then died a few days later. The kids were arrested, then set free. There are no penalties if you are connected.

I’ve been back only once - and it was one of the most depressing experiences of my life. Back then, beer was in the pyramid group. So kids were getting sloshed early in the am before school. I’ve never seen anything like it. Kids with backpacks, hanging in the park and getting hammered.

The people who even have an ounce of power over others, flaunt it to the extreme. Like, complete flexing while belittling, disrespecting, and humiliating the other.

I went to a government office during my visit, and waited for hours. This little old lady went up to the desk, and said that she’s been coming back here for 3 days and nobody will see her. The clerk basically told her go fuck herself. If she has better things to do and doesn’t want to wait, she can leave. Then he told her to leave and come back tomorrow. But this was done in a disgusting sort of way, like the 80 year old lady was some degenerate drug addict scum. Not someone inquiring about her pension.

If a girl isn’t married by her late teens/early 20’s - she’ll have a hard time finding a man. Some will look at her and think, there must be something wrong with her if no man married her yet.

People don’t really smile. Because only idiots walk around smiling.

If you really go against the government, they might arrest you. They might kill you. Or they might bring you into a psychiatric hospital, because only insane people would go against the rational of the government.

Look at their warfare. They just throw young inexperienced, unequipped boys into the meat grinder. Those boys are expendable. Their life doesn’t mean anything.

The government did most of the mobilization in the areas of Russia where nobody cares about citizens. Just as long as the people in Moscow are kept happy, and stocked with shit they can buy - Putin will remain.

I won’t live long enough to see a free Russia - but I hope that I live long enough to see progress.

I seriously doubt it though.

There’s no future there. The population contracts every year. The women outnumber the men. All the educated people are leaving.

Even if you become successful, all it takes is one wrong move. You’ll be dead or in a camp.

The country is just fucking brutal.
